Currently a pupil at the CMI (Club Magico Italiano, Pietro Iraci).

Specialised in manipulation (cards, scarves, …).

Work experience: lively nights on the terraces of Castel S. Angelo. Performances organised at theatres, restaurants, children’s parties.
Participation in the television programme “Affari Tuoi” broadcast on Rai 1.
Winner of the Trofeo Arsenio 2009.

Variety artist - Mr David

Demasi Davide, stagename Mr DAVID, was born in 1975. Since 1998 he has attended placements and courses on circus and theatre art at the school of “action theatre” in Turin. He is currently training at the school of new circus and theatre “FLIC” in Turin, affiliated FEDEC, where he graduated in 2004. He also attends the “Bartolomeo Bosco” magic club in Turin, of which he is an ordinary member.

His shows include cabaret acts, technical and musical acts of juggling and acrobatics, comedy magic performances and freeing himself from any type of constraint (chains, locks, straitjacket) whilst balanced on unstable objects.

His most important experiences include: International Street Artist Festival, “SESTRIERE 2003”, Festival Premio Andersen 2004 Sestri Levante, Circus Festival 2004, Turin, juggling acrobats Circus Embell Riva and Moira Orfei, 2005 “Circo Massimo” - Rai Tre, Gala performance at the Italian juggling convention 2005, circus trainer in the programme “Circo dell’estate” - Rete 4, “Markette” - LA7, gala performance and opening show “European juggling convention 2005 Slovenia”, Tour of the USA with Zoppe’ Circus, Olympics New Year, Turin 2006, Olympics closing ceremony, Turin 2006, “Universiadi 2007”, Bardonecchia.

From 1996 to 2008
He is an actor in a number of theatre companies; and in connection with them he produces shows for STREET theatre.
In 2001
he took part in Biennale Di Venezia, staging a PIRANDELLO text: “I Giganti Della Montagna” directed by DAVIDE IODICE, in which he was the wizard COTRONE
The year 2002
saw VITO GAROFOLO involved in an Italo-Indian production, “Dammi Almeno Un Raggio Di Sole” directed by DAVIDE IODICE and ROY ABEL, performed at the SANT ‘ARCANGELO Festival of the theatres of the province of Rimini.
IN 2004
HE WAS THE WINNER OF PIEDMONT REGIONAL COUNCIL’S PRIZE FOR STREET ART.
2007:
actor in the Teatro Festival d’Italia event, in a play called “BARTOLUCCIO” directed by Silvestro Sentiero and Marcello Amore, based in Naples. In the meantime he maintained his youth through cabaret, with a repertoire of many characters.
FROM 1996 TO NOW
I did courses in social theatre at CST, via MENABREA TURIN, working on a project of body expression in collaboration with alfa theatre.
I did voluntary (and not only)work with:
MILOUD and the girls and boys from Bucarest, with the company of the harp with 10 strings for the clown therapy project;
IMOLA RED CROSS clown therapy;
PATCH ADAMS;
MAGOS SALES and I ragazzi del muretto VALLETTE TURIN
Lastly, from 2004 to 2009, TURIN CITY COUNCIL gave me the responsibility of looking after people with disabilities.
SCHOOLING AND TRAINING
He started his artistic career as a mime artist in Venice, taught by the great maestro MARCEL MARCEAU.
In 1994 he attended the two-year school of body expression with “Norma De Piccoli”, going on to become part of the Bella HUTTER company, and what’s more, a pupil of jango edwards and pierre byland clown.

Performances are at 9.30 p.m. and 11 p.m. and each performance will last for approximately 30 minutes.
